New York Up-date! (Dec. 18th)
The airplane tickets have been booked with Cathay Pacific. Flight leaves Vancouver airport early afternoon on July 2nd and arrives back there in the wee hours of the morning on July 10th. Two big Broadway shows are also now booked – “Wicked” and “Avenue Q”. All participants have turned in their needed forms and S.T.S. Tours (the company helping to organize our trip) is now working hard at booking more shows & sights and planning out our itinerary. New York Field Trippers are reminded that they MUST have a PASSPORT for this trip and should be in the process of acquiring that document NOW if they haven’t already done so.

Yes, it is a definite go. The School Board has given it’s approval
for the Drama Club’s ultimate fieldtrip to New York City (July
2 – 10th, 2007). Nineteen have signed up for the trip and paid
their first installment. Yeah!!!! Airplane tickets will be bought first
and then reservations made for accommodation (close to Times Square
& the Theatre District of course!) The next step after that will
be to purchase all our wonderful show tickets, tours, workshops, etc.
Updates on the trip’s itinerary will appear on the school web
page and in the ADSS scene.
